Texas Marine, a Houston-area boat dealership in business since 1981, has recently been awarded the Silverton Marine Yacht line for Texas, serving the Texas Gulf Coast Region to Southwest Louisiana.

The world-renowned manufacturer of yachts which include convertibles, sport bridges, and motor yachts up to 48 feet, Silverton Marine has been doing business for 35 years. Their roots can be traced back to the 1800's, when German immigrant Henry Luhrs first got involved in the outfitting of trading ships. Luhrs' grandson's, Warren and John founded Silverton Marine in 1969. Since then, Silverton Marine has developed a reputation for innovation and exquisite craftsmanship.

Texas Marine will be unveiling a wide representation of the 2004 and 2005 Silverton models at the 2004 Houston International In-the-Water Boat Show, September 30 - October 3 at the Watergate Yachting Center in Clear Lake Shores.
