DISCOVER BOATING AT THE 2006 HOUSTON BOAT SHOW
The Discover Boating Center returns to the 2006 Houston International Boat, Sport and Travel Show to illustrate to Houstonians that time spent fishing and boating brings family and friends closer together. A family doesn't have to spend a fortune on a theme park vacation to have an experience that everyone will enjoy. Although your first meeting with Mickey Mouse will probably be memorable, chances are it will pale in comparison to memories of spending time on the water with the people you love.
Boating prospects and potential first-time buyers can familiarize themselves with different types and sizes of boats, standard equipment included with a boat purchase, and just how affordable it can be to own a boat. The Center features a variety of boats, from runabouts, to pontoons, to aluminum fishing boats, that can be purchased for $199 a month or less. Show-goers are free to gaze at the boats and peruse the available information without the pressure of a salesperson.
The Discover Boating Program is a service of the recreational boating industry with the goal of "helping people become boaters." Over the last four years, the program has grown from a small informational center at three boat shows to fourteen Discover Boating Centers across the United States and Canada that provide informative literature and unbiased direction to new, prospective, and experienced boaters.
Let the Discover Boating center show you how to enjoy one of Texas' most beloved recreations. Visit the Discover Boating exhibit at the 2006 Houston International Boat, Sport and Travel Show.
